According to Italian journalist Skira, Sporting Lisbon head coach Amorim has made a decision to stay with the club for the upcoming season.

Amorim was once considered the top choice for the manager position at Liverpool and had even visited England to meet with West Ham United. There were also rumors linking him to Chelsea. However, at present, the interest from these three Premier League clubs seems to have cooled off. Liverpool has finalized Sloet as Klopp's successor, while West Ham United has almost secured Lopetegui.

As for Chelsea, with improved performance, Pochettino's position crisis has temporarily been resolved. Skira pointed out that despite some Premier League clubs having contacted Amorim, he has decided to stay at Sporting Lisbon and aims to defend the Primeira Liga title next season.
